To craft The GlenAllachie Wine Series the distiller expertly matures the spirit in American Oak Ex-Bourbon barrels before additional maturation in wine barriques.

A distinctive twist has been added by blending four exceptional wine finishes into one unique expression.

Master Distiller, Billy Walker expertly sourced Languedoc, Recioto Della Valpolicella & wine barriques from two Premier Cru Classe Chateaux.

After maturation in American Oak Ex-Bourbon barrels the whisky was then transferred into the selection of wine barriques for secondary maturation.

The combination of the interesting wood types unifies to create an intense flavour composition.

From the elegant stone fruits of the Languedoc to the gentle spice of the Recioto Della Valpolicella, all balaned impeccably with the sweet opulent texture from the Premier Cru Classe.  Each barrique significantly contributes to this exceptionally unique bottling.

On the nose the malt is bursting with orange blossom, espresso, maraschino cherries & honeysuckle with hints of candied stone fruits, hazlenuts, lavendar & cinnamon.

Followed by the taste of waves of dark chocolate, red currants & burnt coffee beans.
