Royal Lochnagar 12yr Single Malt Scotch Whisky 70cl 40%vol

The Lochnagar distillery was established in 1845 in Crathie, Ballater.  It was then visited by Queen Victoria & Prince Albert and became known as Royal Lochnagar.

Subtle & freshly woody this medium-bodied single malt from forested Royal Deeside is aged for 12 years in oak casks.

On the nose there is fragrant linseed oil & sweet toffee, offset by fresh acidity.

Pleasantly balanced the palate dries to a medium length finish in which a sandalwood note lingers.
