Craigellachie 13 year old Bas Armagnac Cask Finish

The first release in Craigellachie’s Cask Collection is a 13-year-old single malt that was initially matured in a combination of refill & re-char ex-bourbon barrels, before being finished for just over a year in Bas Armagnac casks from Gascony, France.

Aromas of nectarine, flamed orange peel, toffee with a hint of tobacco.

On the palate a touch of smoke, mellowed by tablet & shortbread. A finish of peppercorn, oily malt, cedar & honeycomb.
