Frequently asked questions

How many people can I host?

The Chaumer is perfect for smaller gatherings. We can comfortably accommodate up to 16 guests for seated tastings, or 35 guests for standing, networking-style events.

Please note there is a minimum booking of 7 guests for private wine tastings.

How long can I hire the Chaumer for?

Private hire is available for a minimum of one hour for simple tastings. We are happy to discuss longer booking periods during your initial enquiry.

What is the cost to hire The Chaumer?

Room Only If you simply need the space without our services, room hire is charged at £35 per hour.

Hosted Events (Per Person) For tastings or networking events, pricing is calculated per guest, depending on how the space is used.

  • Wine tastings start from £25 per person.
  • Add our deli pots for a fuller experience — around £35 per person.
  • For networking-style events, options such as coffee and pastries start from £15 per person.
